On May 9th at 18:00, a Boeing 747-8F cargo plane loaded with over 130 tons of cargo took off from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and will land at Brussels International Airport in Belgium at 8:40 the next day, completing its maiden mission. This marks the official opening of the "Chengdu=Brussels" international cargo route and layout of the Southwest market at the airport Hongyuan.
The international cargo flight "Chengdu to Brussels" operated by Hongyuan Air Cargo, which was recently launched, currently operates three times a week and will gradually increase to six times a week in the future. The Boeing 747-8F aircraft flying on this route is the largest civilian cargo plane in the world. Compared to the Boeing 747-400 cargo aircraft, it has a 30% increase in payload capacity, features advanced engines, and has made corresponding improvements in energy efficiency and emissions reduction, making it more environmentally friendly.
