Building the China Pakistan Economic Air Corridor | Airport Hongyuan's "Chengdu=S ã o Paulo" International Freight Route Successfully Debuts

On the evening of November 4th Beijing time, the Boeing 747-8F cargo plane, loaded with 130 tons of e-commerce and trade goods, landed smoothly at Guarulius International Airport in S ã o Paulo, Brazil, marking the successful maiden flight of the airport's Hongyuan "Chengdu=S ã o Paulo" international cargo route.

"Self-owned transport capacity for flights, supporting deliveries to multiple locations.""Supporting the smooth operation of the dual circulation."

"This route is operated by Airports Hongyuan's self-owned Boeing 747-8F aircraft, with two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays, with a maximum payload of 134 tons per single flight. The inaugural flight carried a full load of machinery, clothing, daily necessities, and other e-commerce and trade goods to São Paulo, helping meet the growing demand of Latin American consumers for Chinese products. At the same time, in addition to Hongyuan's Chengdu cargo station, customers can also deliver goods to cargo stations in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, providing convenience not only to foreign trade, e-commerce, and manufacturing enterprises in Chengdu and the southwestern region but also benefiting corporate customers nationwide. This greatly improves trade accessibility between China and Latin America, effectively addresses the actual transportation needs of enterprises, enhances the quality of air logistics, and improves cross-border trade efficiency. It also contributes to Chengdu becoming a strategic hinterland for the domestic dual circulation and a gateway hub for international and domestic dual circulation."

"The backbone team is on the front line.""Fully ensure the first flight mission."

"To ensure the inaugural flight of the new route, all key personnel in the Chengdu region of Hongyuan went to the front line. They completed tasks such as disinfection, pallet assembly, and loading and unloading with the highest position, most practical measures, best condition, and highest standards, ensuring the successful completion of the inaugural flight."

"Since relocating to Chengdu in March, Hongyuan Cargo Airlines' air freight logistics business has grown rapidly. As of October 31st, Hongyuan Chengdu Regional Company has operated a total of 146 flights, transporting over 16,000 tons of cargo. With a cargo station area of more than 4,000 square meters and a dedicated in-house support team of over 100 professionals, the company provides end-to-end services, including airport operations, air-land intermodal transport, air-air intermodal transport, and customs clearance."

"In recent years, trade between China and Brazil has been on the rise against the trend, with China maintaining its position as Brazil's largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years. Brazil, as the world's seventh-largest economy and a member of the G20 and BRICS, has experienced rapid economic growth. However, the robust growth in cross-border trade between China and Brazil has been met with challenges such as a relative scarcity of direct flight capacity resources in the market and slow cross-border logistics efficiency. These challenges have made it difficult to meet the growing demands of consumers in both countries."

"The opening of the 'Chengdu to São Paulo' international air cargo route by Hongyuan Air Cargo is a proactive response to the call of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It serves as a crucial air logistics corridor that connects China with Latin America, helping to efficiently address the demand for high-quality import and export air transportation between China and Brazil. This initiative promotes the circulation of premium goods between the two regions and enhances trade exchanges among BRICS countries. It also represents a significant step for Hongyuan in further strengthening its comprehensive cross-border trade services, providing superior and more stable air logistics support to achieve the goal of 'buy globally, sell globally.'"
